Occupational Therapy Services

Screenings

Occupational therapy screenings are a brief process of evaluating a child over a broad spectrum of activities to identify potential red flags and motivate further investigation (usually a comprehensive assessment).

Screenings are usually conducted after either a parent or teacher has identified potential difficulties in a child, but is unsure if a full assessment is warranted.

Screenings can be conducted in a school setting, home setting or in our clinics.  It usually takes no more than 15-20 minutes followed by verbal feedback.
